Court dockets contain sensitive information about what takes place during court proceedings. Given that the records contain sensitive issues, there are laws that prohibit the full disclosure of such information to the public. In Nueces County, they also follow legal jurisdictions applied by the State of Texas. However, gaining access to this information will not be a problem provided that you follow the correct process.
There are two possible ways of getting the documents. The first option is to visit the courthouse, and the second alternative is to go the county’s official website. If you choose to follow the first option, you can mail to the address below:
Nueces County
P.O. Box 2627
Corpus Christi, TX 78403
You can ask assistance from the county clerk who knows where all the files are organized and stored. This person is responsible for all the legal information and public records, so you can rely on him or her in looking for the necessary dockets. You can give them a call prior to your visit at (361) 888-0111 or fax to (361) 888-0329.
If you find the second option easier and faster, then you can go online and visit Nolan County’s official website at www.co.nueces.tx.us. There, you can access the different courthouses that you wish to visit.
Finally, if you find these options insufficient, you can go to Nueces County Public Library. Nueces County Keach Family Library is located at 1000 Terry Shamsie Boulevard, Robstown, Texas. It is open from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday and from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM Friday and Saturday.
