The Arlington Police Department is the local law enforcement agency for the city or Arlington, Texas. The APD is divided into two main bureaus with the addition of an Administrative Services office and a Media Relations office directly under the Chief of Police. Operations Bureau

The Operations Bureau is the patrol services and investigative arm of the Arlington Police Department.
It has departments for Operations Support and Central Investigations, which is comprised of the specialized units for types of crime that benefit most from specially trained, designed and centralized investigative resources, such as Auto Theft, Crimes Against Persons (CAPERS), Domestic Crimes, Economic Crimes, Gang, Juvenile, Narcotics, Traffic and Vice.

Within the Operations Bureau is also the divisions for the four patrol districts of the city. The North District patrol services are run out of the Ott Cribbs Public Safety Building at 620 W.
